Woohoo for another fun Yelp event - and once again, I probably way overate ... my favorite was Crawfish Shack Seafood - I'm embarrassed to say I went to their table at least three times. I still can't believe those were "medium" size shrimp - they were large "mediums" I guess, plus perfect & delicious. Loved the homemade remoulade sauce (can you believe there were 20+ ingredients in that sauce??!!).

Hmmmm .. so let me try to recall what made it into my tummy: 6 shrimp + 2 crawfish from Crawfish Shack Seafood, finally my first taste of the popular taro & also strawberry Yogurberry (I definitely need to make a trip to the Terminus), mac-n-cheese & sweet potato souffle from Mary Mac's (yum for comfort food), tomato bisque soup from f20 (another favorite - made 2 trips), 2 Sublime Doughnuts (too hard to resist just 1), hummus from Olive Bistro, Stunna beverage (can't even remember everything the bartender put in there but it was tasty), and a white Savida sangria (delicious & refreshing).

Space was great - lighting was a little dark though for a food event ... I had a hard time distinguishing the different Yogurberry toppings .. but might be my old age, too :)

Thanks again for throwing another great event, Kathleen - and love my new Yelp totebag!!

Great event. The vendors were pretty generous with their food, which I appreciated though I'm not sure crawdads, shrimp, mac and cheese, popcorn, yogurt, humus, and Maker's Mark make the most nutritious of meals. (Cue Kathleen, Yelpmress: "Do NOT assume you're going get a full meal at a Yelp event, you cheap ass!" Yes, mom.) Oh, but who needs food anyway? It simply gets in the way of a quicker buzz.

Still, it was a good night. I drank Makers. I drank Sweetwater. I drank that premade sangria which wasn't bad. I got into a dance off with a 3 year old boy. I was served in a dance off by a 3 year old boy. I listened to someone make the observation last night, "Boy, there are a lot of Asians on Yelp" which is like noticing how full the ocean is. I saw some dudes break dance which reminded me of when I used to break dance, you know, back when it was new. Now, if I attempted a windmill, the only thing I'd break is a hip. My only gripe was that I didn't get to hear my requested "900 Number" so that I could commence with my Ed Lover Dance.

      I'm old.

Hats off to you, Yelpers. I was even impressed at the orderly way you all exited the parking lot last night. And as far as the pictures from last night are concerned, you know how the camera always adds ten pounds? Just how many cameras did I have on me anyway?

The event was uh-mazing!! The only downside (for me & those who i couldn't serve) was that I didn't bring enough Yogur.. errr spoons to serve the demand. It was quite overwhelming to say the least. It seems while we had prepared enough yogurberry for 150 people, i was foolish enough to think only 100 spoons would suffice. i felt so ashamed.. so very.. very uh-shamed. (i was kicking myself on the way home. ;) my deepest apologies to those who wanted some but couldn't be served!! anyways, i hope you guys enjoyed what we could serve and it was truly an honor to share and meet all of you!

anyhoo, the event overall was gRRReat! If i had only know there was a b-boy crew, i would've stayed to throw it down and battle!! haha, they would've prolly eaten me alive, but it would've been fun to breakdance w/the crew! i can do a mean cabbage patch & running man y'know! ;)

thanks again for putting the excellent event together Kathleen! it was splendid indeed!

How can you not love free food and drinks?! Yes, it is good to be a Yelper! It's even better to be elite and snag all the goodies first!!! I was so excited to try out all of the food, and it certainly did live up to all of the hype and then some! DE-FREAKING-LICIOUS!!!

Ok, ok! But the BEST part was the amazing makeup artist!!! How cool is that?! She did a fantastic job, and I vote that we have a makeup artist at every event!! All in favor say, aye!

      AYE!!!!

Great event! The variety of food and drink was incredible. The Crawfish Shack grub rocked my world, and I loved their homemade remoulade sauce. I thought it was awesome that the Yogurberry guy was so passionate about his product, which was delicious! The Maker's Mark went down nicely, and the complimentary shot glass was a nice touch. The breakdancers were a great idea, and they put on quite a show!

Everyone looked super hot, and the photos look awesome. The photographers were working the floor the whole night and captured some sweet shots. Kathleen's hard work really paid off last night, and it was a HUGE success! I brought some new people who haven't been to a Yelp event before, and now they're eager to join!

Thanks to our out-of-town Yelpers for helping work the event, and big props to Kathleen for organizing a super event (while looking stylish as ever!)!

Another awesome Yelp event. I enjoyed the wide open floor space and the variety of vendors - everything from Mary Mac's to Yogurberry. Was able to catch up with so many Yelpers and meet a few new ones too. Loved the photo booth as always. Also thanks to Mark T, Leah T, and Valerie O for taking photographs throughout the night. Loved the 80s dance music and classic MJ tunes. Highlight of the night was most definitely the break dance crew. Freaking awesome. Thank you, Kathleen, for another terrific Yelp event!

Okay, am I the only one who didn't realize there were that many people in the Atlanta Yelp community?!? I mean, WOW! I can remember when it was just me, Lauren S., Drew W., Wallace S., and a handful of other early adopters. I think it's really cool that we've grown so much in Atlanta and that we can all get together for a good time.

The food was plentiful and I appreciated the variety of adult beverages available (normally the selection is just one or two options). Great DJ and the "halftime show" entertainment was cool. Way to represent the A-T-L!
